We need to bring back 2019 lip-sync worthy songs. Where the lyrics don't make sense or it's a borderline diss track. It's genuinely so fun to listen to.

For the new generations, we need artists that can invoke the same feelings Halsey and Melanie Martinez did to 05-07 babies. They need to feel psycho or mentally-ill after listening to an album. Think, 'watching suicide squad for the first time at 10' vibes. I can't think of new artists for this job though..

I was also going to say a 'girl in red' for them too. But chappell roan is here so we don't have to worry about that. Anyway. if i could eat one track right here, right now, i would eat 'Time is Up' by Poppy.

i love a carefully curated album that feels otherwordly, yet somehow so human? Am i making sense?

Listening to it feels like you're stepping into an entirely new world from what we know now, but the lyrics hint at deeply-familiar feelings. There's something about it that makes you feel like it’s your story 2.

I love a good, relatable album, sure. But there’s something even more satisfying when an artist pulls you into a completely made-up narrative, only to find that every word, every chord somehow resonates with the most 'human' emotions. I hope I make sense..

i lovvvee re-discovering old music I used to play on repeat. I am an avid media repeater, especially when it comes to shows. I always have an 8-season show on repeat at all times. Shows I can't really forget and can always predict. When i re-listen to a favourite song i've forgotten about for like 4 years, it's a different type of feeling.

Ashnikko's 'Blow' track was on repeat every day in 2018. Completely forgot about her (sorry) until Arcane S2 came out. Then spotify played the track and i knew every lyric. so surreal it was like re-discovering gold. practically equivalent to watching gossip girl for the first time.

if i re-discovered The Marias like I did ashnikko, it would be like watching b99 for the first time.
